How should I act on this group date?

So I asked this girl I met at a restaurant to coffee and she rescheduled for next week suggesting we go to the mall and I bring my friends and she do likewise (I guess this constitutes a group date). So, should I try to single her out and talk to her alone or would that be weird and too forward? In short, how should I handle this group date?
