Why do people even support republicans?

why do people even support republicans? anti change, anti green power, anti gay rights, anti healthcare, anti science, anti evolution, pro creationism, pro jesus in the white house, pro global warming, pro coal and oil. seriously who are supporting these people. they are against everything a smart logical person is for. why are they even running our country?
