What statistical test(s) should I run on grey whale populations since 1967?

I'm doing a paper for one of my cles and we have to have at least one major test to talk about in our paper. I'm doing the populations of grey whales in the Eastern Pacific Ocean since 1967. I don't know what statistical test(s) I should run besides the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and range. I need some suggestions. Thanks!
