Viper 5501 draining battery?

I had a viper 5501 installed on my 03 Pontiac grand am gt a couple days ago by a professional installer or so I thought... I pick up my car and my parking lights don't come on when the car is remote started as they are supposed too. Last night I park my car wake up this morning and my car won't start. It'll crank but won't start. Finally got it started after a few tries. Go to work for the day try to leave and go home and same thing crank but no start. This started doing this the day after I had the remote start put in. I recently replaced the battery. Is this an improper wiring situation or what's going on please help me I'm frustrated beyond belief. And I don't know what to do...
