Is the April 1st confiker worm going to be like the Y2K scare that never happened?

Remember Y2K? Remember how the entire world was going to crash on New Years Day? I had a camper trailer with plenty of propane and supplies ready just in case. Remember how nothing happened? Do you think all the hype of the April 1st computer virus will end the same way? Or will I wake up tomorrow to find my computer smoldering?
