How have Gillette and Hicks undermined the Livererpool manager?

watching sky sports news and heard a blurb about how the new Derby owners could do the same that G & H did at L'pool...what did they do to undermine Rafa? Here in the US this sort of thing does not get ANY press coverage (except on Fox Soccer Channel) so i'll ask here...can't wait to hear some angry responses
